The CareerPrep Story

CareerPrep was started in 2021 by a group of former hiring managers, engineers, and career coaches who had collectively reviewed tens of thousands of resumes and conducted thousands of interviews at leading companies.

We kept seeing the same pattern: talented professionals failing interviews not because of skill gaps, but because they had never been taught how to communicate their capabilities effectively in a high-pressure interview setting.

Expensive career coaches were helping some candidates, but the vast majority were left to navigate interview preparation alone, relying on outdated forum posts and generic advice. We decided to change that.

Today, CareerPrep serves a growing community of professionals worldwide with expert interview guides, professionally designed resume templates, and data-driven career tools — all free.
